A note from your trainer:Howdy, friends! I am a proud LSU alum with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Geaux Tigers), a Cooper Trained™ & Certified™ Personal Trainer out of Dallas, Texas, a former Partner Trainer with Camp Gladiator outdoor group fitness and fairly new to the Wisconsin Rapids community! In my two+ years of experience with CG, I established four of my own outdoor locations, built a family of over 120 dedicated campers and trained groups of, on average, 60 per day. My vision is to continue to positively impact lives- both near and far- and I look forward to having a front-row seat your wellness journey, (perhaps now, through the computer screen or outside with a few more layers on)!

more about coach kelsI was born and raised in the small mountain town of Evergreen, Colorado, where my family and I spent most of our time hiking, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and anything else involving the great outdoors! For much of my childhood, I participated as an athlete and leader in competitive sports, such as softball and dance. For much of my high school experience, I danced for and went on to co-captain a top-10 nationally ranked hip hop team, where my love for leadership and fitness began and flourished.

Upon graduation, I spent two years earning my core credits at Blinn College of Texas A&M and then went on to earn my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a Fitness Studies concentration from Louisiana State University. Geaux Tigers! Prior to receiving my degree, I spent my final semester in Dallas, fulfilling my senior internship credit as a coach and trainer at Dallas Underground Strength and Fitness. Upon graduation from LSU, I attended the Cooper Institute, where I received my certificate as a certified personal trainer. I then passed a much-anticipated audition to serve the community as a Partner Trainer with Camp Gladiator outdoor group fitness and in the middle of Dallas' biggest ice storm, I opened my first of four camp locations in February of 2015. That was one chilly morning, but we had a blast!

I owe it to my "krew"
I thank each one of my campers, leaders, and teammates for being a significant part in my growth as a communicator, business owner, friend, and partner trainer with Camp Gladiator... For being loyal campers, for trusting me with their fitness, and for showing me what a supportive family I had in Texas. I have a hard time believing I would be the strong, independent person I am today, had it not been for my CG community.
