just a thought...
Can we normalize (and also celebrate) the fact that our bodies are going to adapt and change to literally carry us through every chapter of our lives?
That we probs aren’t the same size now that we were in hikeschool and that’s ok?
That maybe- those days we spent at the peak of our physical fitness were actually taking a severe toll on our mental and emotional health?
That maybe- at one time- you could rock those extra small jeans, but...
You. Are. No. Longer. An. Extra. Small. Human.
And that’s ok too?
Let’s normalize finding clothes that fit OUR bodies at every stage, rather than bending over backwards (literally) to fit in to clothes that no longer serve us.
Like Marie Kondo taught me- thank those old jeans and send them on their way.
And like my gal Liz Gilbert says- I have no interest in being obese; I’m just through with the guilt... So I’m going to finish this pizza and tomorrow, we’re going to buy ourselves some bigger jeans.
never miss a post!
